Citrix Synergy 2011 was chock full of desktop virtualization news.
At its annual user conference, Citrix Systems unveiled several new products and features that address demand for more VDI tools and support. The company announced a new version of its client hypervisor, XenClient, and enhanced the performance of its HDX protocol. In addition, Citrix acquired Kaviza, maker of the VDI-in-a-Box product for small and medium-sized businesses.
