With 12 sessions and learning labs focusing on XenMobile 10, Citrix's enterprise mobility management suite will be a popular topic at Synergy 2016.
In January, Citrix turned XenMobile into a unified endpoint management platform by adding support for the Windows 10 and Mac OS X operating systems in version 10.3, on top of its existing support for Apple iOS, Google Android and Windows 10 Mobile devices. Citrix and other EMM vendors, such as VMware, MobileIron and IBM, are inching closer to centralized management platforms for all end-user devices, so it's a good time to learn more about XenMobile.
Current or prospective Citrix EMM customers will have opportunities to learn the basics of XenMobile 10 deployment, management and security. Or, they can attend customer story sessions detailing how a Swiss police department and an American health services company successfully deployed XenMobile 10. Fair warning, though: Citrix has already abandoned the ballyhooed XenMobile Dynamic Containerization feature it flaunted at Synergy 2015.
