The Windows PC is no longer the only enterprise endpoint. That means IT pros will need to consider new enterprise application delivery options.

Delivering applications to various types of endpoints -- PCs, Macs, smartphones and tablets -- can be challenging. And the growing number of options -- application virtualization, other remote streaming technologies, app stores, etc. -- doesn't help simplify the situation.

To develop a strong, modern enterprise application delivery strategy, IT administrators should assess their needs, as well as those of their end users, and then evaluate technologies based on how well they meet those needs.
