Project Horizon: VMware moves beyond virtualization

Project Horizon, VMware’s forthcoming application delivery and management portal, marks the company’s biggest attempt yet to take down Windows-based computing.

Project Horizon will let users manage on-premise and Web-based applications, including the Zimbra, Mozy and SlideRocket services it has acquired over the past few years.
