Are there licensing concerns when running Terminal Services remotely from
other countries? If the users of the software are in India, Ireland, etc., does that violate the
license for a Microsoft or other company product? Does the license count as a U.S. license if the
server is in the U.S.? The users will either have an NT CAL or are running XP.

I must begin by saying that if you want a legal opinion about licensing, you need to check
with the company doing the licensing. Microsoft has this information on its Web site. That said, to
the best of my knowledge, the country in which a PC sits is irrelevant to the license.
